Shareholders
The administration of the Fund is entrusted to a Board of Directors composed of:
a) two members appointed by the ASF, one of whom is the president of the Board of Directors;
b) one member appointed by the ASF at the proposal of the Ministry of Finance;
c) one member appointed by the ASF from among the representatives proposed by the Fund’s participants;
d) one member appointed by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
The members of the Board of Directors of the Fund are appointed for a 5-year term by an individual administrative act issued by the ASF, with the exception of the member appointed by the BNR, who is appointed by an order from the Governor of the BNR.
Additionally, the members of the Board of Directors make proposals for the appointment of the General Director, which are then submitted for approval to the ASF Board.
As of February 15, 2022, the position of General Director of the Fund is held by Mr. Bogdan Movileanu.
